Are Your Gutters Leaking? Are They Sagging?
You Likely Need A Gutter Repair or Gutter Replacement!
If your gutters are sagging and leaking, then the first thing they need is gutter cleaning. But often times, there is more damage to your gutters than just being blocked.
Some companies will simply “do as they’re asked” and clean your gutters, get paid and walk away. But not us here at All Star Siding! We’ll do a thorough gutter clean… and do it properly! But our service doesn’t stop there.
We’ll thoroughly check them out, do a full assessment for you, and let you know if they can be easily repaired or require replacing.
Gutter Repairs
If a guttter repair is the best option for your gutters then we’ll provide you with a quote for the work needed. We’ll arrange all the necessary materials and return to complete the repairs at a time suitable to you. But sometimes, depending on the repairs required, we can even complete the job while we’re already there on the first visit.
Gutter Replacement
But sometimes, the damage is too severe to do a gutter repair and so it would be in your best interests, and importantly your wallets best interest, to do a gutter replacement. If we recommend this as the best solution for your gutters, we will take care of them from start to finish.
But don’t worry because if any gutter replacement is required we will match the colour and style of the existing gutters.
Roof Valleys
Sometimes our customers don’t realise the damage is not actually coming from the gutters! It can actually be due to your roof valley being damaged. This happens when leaves and debris build up in the valley, the water then doesn’t run off the roof but sits in the debris and corrodes the valley. This then allows water to get into your roof and cause all sorts of water damage, including water marks and mould on your internal ceilings, mould in your insulation or even cause electrical faults and fires if it leaks on any electrical fittings.
So if you have water marks or mould in your internal ceilings, then its more than likely your roof valleys are damaged or it could be that one or more of your roof tiles are cracked.
Since there are so many possibilities for the cause, call us or email us to give you a free, professional roof inspection and we’ll let you know if there is any damage and what we can do to fix the problem.
